The Ancient Sluice Dam Site of Xindian is a cultural heritage protection unit of Shandong Province.

The Ancient Sluice Dam Site of Xindian is located in Shiqiao Town, Rencheng District, Jining City, dating back to the Yuan to Qing dynasties.

On October 10, 2013, the Ancient Sluice Dam Site of Xindian was designated as part of the fourth batch of Provincial Cultural Heritage Protection Units by the People's Government of Shandong Province.

Shiqiao Town: Shiqiao Town is situated in the southeastern part of Jining City, bordering the renowned Nanyang Lake, one of China’s major freshwater lakes. The Jining No. 3 Coal Mine is located within the town, adjacent to the Jining No. 2 Coal Mine. The area boasts abundant resources including water, electricity, coal, timber, and animal hides. It covers a total area of 62.4 square kilometers, with 47,000 mu of arable land, a population of 47,500, and 35 administrative villages. In 2005, the local GDP reached 499 million yuan, tax contributions exceeded 9 million yuan, and the per capita net income of farmers was 4,507 yuan.
