Jining Liulin Site

The Jining Liulin Site is a cultural heritage protection unit of Jining City.

The Jining Liulin Site is located west of Liujie Village, Tangkou Subdistrict, Rencheng District, Jining City. It dates back to the Shang and Zhou dynasties and is classified as an ancient site.

On April 17, 1985, the Jining Liulin Site was designated as a municipal-level cultural heritage protection unit of Jining City.

Tangkou Subdistrict: Tangkou Subdistrict is situated in the southwest of Jining City, approximately 14.5 kilometers from the city center. Covering an area of 126 square kilometers, it governs 79 administrative villages with a population of 87,956 (2005). National Highway 105, Provincial Highway 251, and the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal run through the area. Local rivers include the Zhao River, Zhu-Zhao Canal, Longgong River, and Jiliang Canal. To the east of Sihexia Village lies Sigudui (historically known as Xiangzangdui), and to the west of Liujie Village is the Liulin Site—both are key provincial and municipal-level cultural heritage protection units.
