Nanyang Lake Farm is a national AA-level tourist attraction.

The Jining Nanyang Lake Farm Leisure Agriculture Resort features three major functional areas: specialty fruit and vegetable picking & agricultural experience, sightseeing & dining, and leisure & fitness.

The agricultural sightseeing park includes 32 stone sculptures reflecting Jining’s historical and cultural heritage, one supermarket, 11 farmsteads, one livestock sightseeing area, one conference service center that can accommodate 200 people, one science education base, 42 ancient-style pavilions, towers, and landscape arched bridges, and 18 green belts. The Lakeside Park covers a water area of 3,000 mu and features various tourism facilities such as lakeside sightseeing corridors, lakeside villas, and lakeside restaurants, integrating leisure, fishing, and dining. The fruit and vegetable picking garden grows a variety of produce such as strawberries, grapes, tomatoes, and cucumbers for visitors to pick. The agricultural experience area includes a citizen farming zone where land is divided into one-tenth-acre plots available for rent, offering urban residents hands-on farming experiences. There are 19 protected slope fishponds and 6 regular ponds primarily dedicated to pond fishing, equipped with over 30 fishing platforms that can accommodate 500 people fishing simultaneously or hosting formal fishing competitions. For eco-dining, there are more than ten distinctive restaurants including Banmuyuan Fisherman’s Restaurant, Nanyang Lake Eco-Restaurant, Wufuyuan Local Cuisine Restaurant, Jianyuan Food City, and Baishengyuan Restaurant, which together can serve over a thousand diners at once. All restaurants meet relevant health standards and specialize in dishes such as Nanyang Lake Whole Fish Banquet, organic vegetables, claypot goose, and stir-fried reed chickens. The resort also features 18 unique farmsteads, each with accommodations for 1–3 families and essential living supplies, as well as fully equipped kitchens. Visitors can cook their own meals using traditional stoves, stew fish, or prepare dishes, or they can have the on-site chefs cook for them. Additionally, the resort leverages its ecological and rural characteristics to launch a series of tourism festival events, such as agricultural experience competitions, fruit and vegetable picking contests, children’s fish-catching activities, archery, cockfighting, sheep fighting, and cormorant fishing shows. These activities enhance the leisure, participatory, interactive, and entertaining aspects of the festivals, attracting large numbers of visitors from Jining city and surrounding counties and districts.
