Liuyuan Town is located in the western suburbs of Yicheng District and is a typical suburban town. It governs 54 administrative villages and 71 natural villages, covering a total area of 126 square kilometers with a population of 56,000. The town enjoys convenient transportation, a beautiful environment, and abundant resources. The national AAAA-level scenic spot — the "World Famous Pomegranate Garden" scenic area — is located within its jurisdiction. The town has over 80,000 mu of pomegranate ecological forest and is known as the "No. 1 Pomegranate Town in the World."
