The Stone House Mountain Spring Stone Carvings, located in Liuyuan Town, Yicheng District, Zaozhuang City, Shandong Province, are one of the cultural heritage sites protected at the provincial level in Shandong Province, China. In the Zaozhuang Guanshi Pomegranate Garden, just a dozen meters to the west, between two massive stone cliffs, lies the “Stone House Mountain Spring.” Jia Sanjin once purchased land and built a residence here, making it a place where he studied in his early years and returned to three times during his leisure years to compose poetry.

According to the "Yi County Annals": “At the foot of Stone House Mountain, a spring flows down forming a small waterfall, which gushes even more violently after summer rains, with a sound like thunder, its chill penetrating the skin and hair.” The spot where the spring water emerges features a several-zhang-high purple-red cliff, which is not only visually striking but also has firm, intricate textures, giving off an air of depth, solemnity, and primitive charm. The slightly forward-leaning red cliff at the top resembles an artificially constructed stone house. The cool spring water gushes continuously from the spring, remaining warm in winter and cool in summer, clean, and delicious. On the spring wall, the bold and elegant large characters “Stone House Mountain Spring” are horizontally engraved, flanked by the couplet: “After rain, snow-like waves spout a thousand feet; after drought, spring water nourishes ten thousand homes,” inscribed with the signature: “Spring, third month of the twentieth year of the Wanli era, by Jia Sanjin, Master of the Stone House.” This was the final work left by Jia Sanjin four months before his death and his last visit to the “Stone House Mountain Spring.”
