Xicang Ancient Bridge

Xicang Ancient Bridge is a Shandong Provincial Cultural Heritage Unit.

Xicang Ancient Bridge is located in Taozhuang Town, Xuecheng District, Zaozhuang City, and dates back to the Qing Dynasty.

On June 23, 2015, Xicang Ancient Bridge was designated as part of the fifth batch of Shandong Provincial Cultural Heritage Units by the People's Government of Shandong Province.

Taozhuang Town: Located in the northern part of Xuecheng District, Taozhuang Town covers a total area of 80 square kilometers, with a population of 100,000. It governs 30 administrative villages, one subdistrict office, and 13 neighborhood committees. The town has a long and rich historical and cultural heritage, with ancient figures such as Xi Zhong and Zhong Hui from the Xia and Shang dynasties leaving their enduring marks here.

The area is rich in mineral resources. Coal mining began as early as the Yuan and Ming dynasties, and in 1920, the Zhongxing Company established mines here along with a dedicated railway line.
