Guangfeng Rosewood Cultural Creative Industry Park

Guangfeng Rosewood Cultural Creative Industry Park is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction.

Guangfeng Rosewood Cultural Creative Industry Park was officially approved as a national 4A-level tourist attraction in 2016. Currently, over 200 enterprises engaged in rosewood furniture, wood carving, and cabinetry have settled in the park. The 2017 Shangrao Cultural Creative Industry Expo was held at the Guangfeng Wood Carving City Convention and Exhibition Center. The exhibition center incorporates the architectural style of the China Pavilion from the Shanghai World Expo and serves as a landmark building within the rosewood cultural creative industry park. With a total construction area of 50,000 m² and an exhibition hall area of 26,000 m², it is a modern, specialized exhibition and sales venue that integrates comprehensive functions such as the exhibition, display, sale, and e-commerce of rosewood furniture, wood carvings, and cabinets.

The Guangfeng Rosewood Cultural Creative Industry Park covers a planned area of 185 mu, with a total investment of 1 billion yuan and a total construction area of 250,000 m². The project is developed in four phases: Phase I and Phase II, consisting of 153 and 141 commercial units respectively, have been delivered and are in operation; Phase III, the rosewood furniture convention and exhibition center, has been completed and is gradually being put into use. With a total construction area of 50,000 m², the main structure has four above-ground floors and one underground floor, incorporating the architectural style of the China Pavilion from the Shanghai World Expo. It currently provides over 100 exhibition booths and serves as a modern, specialized exhibition venue integrating functions such as the exhibition and sale of rosewood furniture, wood carvings, and cabinets; Phase IV, which includes supporting residential buildings and a business hotel, has commenced construction in phases.

The entire project is constructed to the standards of a 4A-level tourist attraction, striving to create a national five-star rosewood furniture market that integrates eight major functions: production and manufacturing, technological research and development, talent training, cultural dissemination, business offices, convention and exhibition trade, tourism and leisure, and residential living. In 2012, Guangfeng District’s initiative to build China’s “City of Wood Carving” was recognized as one of the top ten news events in China’s rosewood furniture industry for that year; the Guangfeng District Cultural Industry Park was comprehensively rated as a “2012 Jiangxi Provincial Cultural Creative Tourism and Leisure Block” by the Provincial Cultural System Reform and Development Work Leading Group. In 2013, the “Guangfeng Rosewood Cultural Creative Industry Park” was designated as a “Jiangxi Provincial Modern Service Industry Cluster Area” by the Provincial Modern Service Industry Development Leading Group. In 2014, the Guangfeng Rosewood Cultural Industry Park was preliminarily identified as a provincial-level industrial cluster—the Guangfeng Rosewood Industrial Cluster—by the Provincial New Industrialization Promotion Leading Group.
