Jiutian Ecotourism Area is situated in the northwest of Yifeng County, Jiangxi Province, covering an area of more than 15,000 acres. It offers a range of major attractions including canyon rafting, alpine adventure courses, bamboo forest paintball, landscape amusement park, stream tracing expeditions, sightseeing boardwalks, large hotels, and resort villas. The Jiutian high-drop canyon rafting commenced trial operations to the public in May 2012. Known as the “highest drop canyon rafting in Jiangxi,” Jiutian Canyon Rafting boasts first-class water quality, scenery, and fresh air. It has been rated by tourism professionals as the most attractive, thrilling, and enjoyable canyon rafting experience in Jiangxi. With an actual drop of 228 meters, it broke China’s record for the highest rafting drop and has received widespread acclaim from tourism industry peers and visitors alike.

The upper reaches of Jiutian Canyon Rafting are supplied by a medium-sized reservoir with a capacity of 500,000 cubic meters. Jiutian Ecotourism Area is recognized as Jiangxi’s ecotourism destination with the best water quality, most abundant water volume, and most pristine vegetation. The scenic area is just 3 kilometers away from the Tianbao Interchange of the Dayuling-Wuning Expressway and the Changtong Expressway, ensuring convenient and smooth transportation. Nearby attractions include the Donglin Sect’s ancestral temple at Dongshan Ancient Temple, the Linji Sect’s ancestral temple at Huangbo Mountain Ancient Temple, the ancient trees of Tianbao Ancient Village, Tanshan Hot Springs, the Oriental Zen Culture Park, and the China Bamboo Expo Park.
