The former residence of He Zizhen at Huangzhuling is a cultural heritage site protected by Yongxin County.

The former residence of He Zizhen at Huangzhuling is located in Huangzhuling Village, Yange Township, Yongxin County, Jiangxi Province. Built in the late Qing Dynasty, it is a yellowish rammed-earth structure. He Zizhen was born here in 1909. In the early 1920s, her parents moved the whole family to Yongxin County town and ran a teahouse named "Haitianchun" to make a living. Later, members of the He family successively joined the revolution. During the struggle at Jinggangshan, He Zizhen and her siblings returned here to lead the masses in revolutionary activities.

Huangzhuling Village boasts picturesque scenery, with green mountains and clear waters surrounding the houses. The village is not large, consisting of just a few dozen households scattered across the valley. After the fall of Jinggangshan, the reactionary Kuomintang forces set fire to and raided Huangzhuling Village seven times, and He Zizhen’s former residence was burned down. In 2005, the residence was restored and rebuilt with donations from Hong Kong entrepreneur Mr. Lam Wing-choi, and in July 2012, it was designated as a cultural heritage site protected by Yongxin County.

He Zizhen, female, also known as He Guiyuan, was born in 1904 in Huangzhuling Village, Yongxin County, Jiangxi Province. She graduated from Yongxin Women's Vocational School in 1925, joined the Chinese Communist Youth League in 1926, and became a member of the Chinese Communist Party in the same year.

After the failure of the Great Revolution, under the leadership of the Yongxin Party organization, He Zizhen contacted the peasant militias of Yuan Wencai in Ninggang and Wang Zuo at Jinggangshan, joining forces with peasant armies from Ninggang, Suichuan, Anfu, Lianhua, and Yongxin to attack Yongxin and rescue arrested CPC members and revolutionary masses.
