The Salt Affairs Office building of the Wushulin Salt Making Co., Ltd. is the most historically valuable heritage site within the Yong'an Salt Field. It features traditional European Baroque architecture with Dutch influences, blended with elements of Japanese-style design. Having stood through the Japanese colonial period to the present day, its elegant façade and finely crafted exposed aggregate work make it particularly striking amidst the vast intertidal plate salt pans.

Yongxin Bay.
Yongxin Bay is part of a large-scale coastal redevelopment project in Yong'an District, featuring a large stone wall and low brick wall marked as the "Hometown of Grouper," along with installations such as giant "OCEAN" lettering and fisherman-themed art pieces. There are also rest pavilions where visitors can enjoy the sea breeze and take in the relaxing ocean views, with occasional sightings of CPC LNG tankers entering the harbor. Yongxin Bay is also one of the best spots to admire the beautiful sea and sky of Yong'an.

Yong'an Salt Field.
Yong'an Salt Field is the largest salt pan wetland south of Tainan and serves as an ideal resting stop for migratory shorebirds such as sandpipers. Autumn and spring are the best seasons to observe birds here, with over 110 species recorded—definitely worth a visit.

Diamond Beach Coast.
Yong'an boasts beautiful coastal scenery. The local government creatively repurposed wave-dissipating blocks into seabird-shaped designs, repainted abandoned fishing boats into play areas, hung wind-blown fish flags, installed swings, and planted colorful flowers—merging aesthetics with local identity to create a “Diamond Sand Bay” by the sea. Paired with Yong'an’s picturesque shoreline, it’s perfect for family leisure.
