The “ball steak,” which gained massive popularity in Japan and South Korea, is now available in Taipei without leaving the country. “Oh My Stone” debuted on May 21st. Its signature “ball steak” is made from U.S. Choice-grade beef — carefully trimmed of tough sinews to leave only the tenderest parts and flavorful marbling. It's then hand-formed into round balls by chefs and served directly to diners, allowing them to experience the fun of DIY grilling and creating a one-of-a-kind steak experience.

The ball steak’s iron plate is also thoughtfully designed. Miniature black stones heated to high temperatures are brought to the table along with the ball steak, allowing diners to grill the steak directly on the hot stones. There’s also a curved smoke extraction vent installed at each table to quickly remove smoke, ensuring a clean and enjoyable grilling experience.
