Tainan’s “Baihe Linchupi Kapok Path,” renowned as one of the world’s 15 most beautiful flower sea walking paths, features a nearly one-kilometer-long kapok-lined avenue with approximately 715 kapok trees. Adjacent to it, a lotus pond has also displayed the spectacular sight of a “sea of red,” attracting many visitors to admire the flowers and take photos.

The kapok trees in Linchupi bloom successively every spring from February to March. The orange-red blossoms on the branches, together with the crimson water area formed by the fern “Azolla” in the lotus pond, resemble a divine palette, interweaving into a magnificent, picturesque, and layered red-tree avenue.

The large expanse of red and yellow fern “Azolla” on the lotus pond usually starts turning red between February and March. With the transition from winter to spring and fluctuating temperatures, the color of Azolla shifts from green to yellow and then to red. Azolla can symbiotically live with blue-green algae to retain nitrogen fertilizer, purify water quality, serve as an organic fertilizer, and help reduce mosquitoes. In addition, the Azolla scenery in Wujie Tribe, Nantou, is also very famous.
