- The Eling Scenic Area is located north of Tongmuling, thirty kilometers from Ciping, with an elevation of 1,408 meters. Two peaks resembling bamboo shoots are shaped like a goose, hence the name “Eling” or “Goose Mountain.” It is also called “Jade Goose Mountain” due to its delicate, jade-like beauty.

-- The scenic area is covered in clouds and mist all year round, with elegant peaks and many historical sites on the mountains, making for captivating views. In addition, there are sites such as the ruins of the Battle of Xincheng and the Battle of Bailu.

-- Not only are there myths and legends about Eling, but many poets and scholars have also written poems praising it, which speaks to the area’s beauty.
