Fengfeng Yuanbao Mountain

Fengfeng Yuanbao Mountain is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.

Yuanbao Mountain Scenic Area is located in the center of Fengfeng Mining District, Handan City, Hebei Province. It gets its name from the three peaks that are connected and shaped like a traditional Chinese ingot (yuanbao), and it stands at an elevation of over 200 meters. The area is vibrant with blooming flowers, lush green lawns, and dense, thriving pines and cypresses, offering visitors a warm, natural, and comfortable environment for leisure and entertainment.

The stepped paths in the scenic area are uniquely distinctive. They twist through serene corners with creatively designed routes, utilizing materials such as ceramic scraps, flagstone pieces, and tubular tiles. This not only gives new life to waste materials but also highlights the local identity of Fengfeng Pengcheng as the “Pottery Capital.” The scenic area boasts rich vegetation, with lawns as soft as carpets and nearly 3 million trees and shrubs of over 100 varieties, including more than ten types of precious species such as spruce, metasequoia, dragon juniper, yuanbao maple, and koelreuteria.

Covering an area of 1,733,420 square meters, Yuanbao Mountain Scenic Area features over ten attractions, including the splendidly golden Yuanbao Pavilion, the uniquely shaped Butterfly Pavilion, the classic and elegant winding corridor, the exotic Dutch windmill, the three-tiered Waterfall Cascade, as well as traditional folk-style attractions like Century Garden and Golden Dragon Emerging from Water. The Yuanbao Mountain Scenic Area has been rated as a national 3A-level tourist attraction.
