The Yuanwa Site is a cultural heritage protection unit of Handan City.

The Yuanwa Site is located in Xinpo Town, Fengfeng Mining District, dating back to the Western Zhou Dynasty to the Han Dynasty.

The Yuanwa Site is among the third batch of municipal-level cultural heritage protection units in Handan City.

Xinpo Town: A town under the jurisdiction of Fengfeng Mining District, Handan City. Established as Xinpo Commune in 1961 and upgraded to a town in 1986. It is located in the eastern part of the mining district, 20 kilometers from the city center of Handan. Covering an area of 4.4 square kilometers with a population of 30,000, it is traversed by the Handan-Fengfeng Highway and the Handan-Cishan Railway. The town administers 14 village committees: Xinpo, Dapan, Xipan, Yezhuang, Wangzhuang, Cuizhuang, Qiantai, Houtai, Qianpu, Houpu, Yao 1, Yao 2, Yao 3, and Yao 4.
