Taoxian Stream

The "No. 1 Drift in Central Fujian" Taoxian Stream bamboo rafting adventure spans almost 7 kilometers and takes approximately one and a half hours. Starting from Tadou Village in Nanting Town, the stream flows east into the Dazhang Stream and ultimately merges into the Min River. Along both banks, the ecological environment is pristine and the scenery is picturesque, with many ancient tree clusters, subtropical vines, as well as hot springs. Key scenic spots along the river include natural islets, Lover’s Tree, ancient tree groves, Five Immortals Listening to Thunder, Lion Stone Pool, the ancient site of Tianping City, Peach Blossom Island, Diaoding Pool, Three Pools Mirroring the Moon, Guest-Greeting Pine, Lotus Terrace, and Hunei Palace.

In July 1999, the stream launched its bamboo rafting tourism project, acclaimed as the "No. 1 Drift in Central Fujian." The rafting route covers nearly 7 kilometers, starting at Zhongzhouban in Nanting Village and ending at the boundary between Nanting and Shuikeng, taking about one and a half hours.
