The Lian Ancestral Hall at the Back of the Mountain is a cultural heritage site protected at the provincial level in Fujian Province.

The Lian Ancestral Hall at the Back of the Mountain is located in Getou Village, Guobao Township, Dehua County, and dates back to the Ming Dynasty.

Description: Constructed in the early years of the Zhengde era of the Ming Dynasty (1508), it faces south and is oriented north. The complex includes a main building, an auxiliary building, a front courtyard, and a zigzag-shaped pond, with a total construction area of 585 square meters. The main building is a two-story "stilted house," featuring five bays in width and a depth of 14 meters. It has a post-and-lintel beam frame and a flush gable roof. This ancestral hall is a rare example of a stilted-style wooden structure from the Ming Dynasty in the province.

In 2013, the Lian Ancestral Hall at the Back of the Mountain was designated as part of the eighth batch of provincial-level cultural heritage sites by the People's Government of Fujian Province.

Protected area: An extension of 20 meters outward from the perimeter of the ancestral hall.

Guobao Township: Guobao Township is situated slightly southwest of the central part of Dehua County. It neighbors Xunzhong Town, Leifeng Town, Chishui Town, and Gaide Township, serving as the “gateway” from the county seat to the western townships. The location of the township government—Guobaoyang in Foling Village—is 24 kilometers from the county seat. The terrain of the township is higher in the northwest and lower in the southeast, with mid-to-low mountains and hills interspersed. The total land area is 63.4 square kilometers. It administers 8 village committees, 91 villager groups, and had a population of 2,632 households and 12,174 people by the end of 1999.
