The Site of the Battle of Yanlinkou, a Battlefield of the Daiyun Column, is located in Lindi Village, Gaide Township, Dehua County.

In the spring of 1947, following instructions from the Party Committee of the Fujian–Zhejiang–Jiangxi Border Region, the Daiyun Column set out from Putian and advanced toward the Daiyun Mountain Range, aiming to establish a new revolutionary base there.

As the guerrilla force advanced toward the Daiyun Mountains, they were pursued and blocked by the Nationalist army. The brave fighters fought valiantly against the enemy, overcame fatigue and hunger, evaded the enemy’s frontline, and crossed mountains and ridges. On the afternoon of July 14, nearly 100 members of the column entered Sanfu Bao in Jinfu Township, Dehua County, via Chengxiang in Yongchun. By dusk, they arrived at Anlinkou in Shanglin Bao (now Lindi Village, Gaide Township). After continuous fighting and day-and-night marches, the column troops were extremely fatigued and were preparing to settle down when they were suddenly ambushed by the Nationalist county self-defense militia led by Xu Dengyun and Xiao Mengqiu. The enemy unleashed fierce firepower, and the bridge at Anlinkou was—(damaged/blocked). The direct detachment of the Daiyun Column engaged in a bloody battle with the Nationalist reactionary forces. Despite fierce resistance, the guerrilla force was split into three groups. Huang Guozhang, Lin Runan, and other column headquarters leaders, along with the Third Squadron led by Mao Piao, retreated from Shanglin Dianzai toward Shanglin Shuiwei. Gao Zuwu, Xu Jiming, and over 30 members of the First and Second Squadrons retreated from Shanglin Yingxian Palace toward the hillside behind the palace, fighting the enemy while moving to cover the retreat of the headquarters. Lin Yunxiang, Mao Cai, and others escaped in another direction, breaking through the enemy’s encirclement.

On May 3, 1988, Anlinkou Bridge and Yingxian Palace were designated as county-level cultural heritage protection units by the county government.
