Introduction

The Ancient City of Quanzhou Scenic Area is a unique tourist destination that integrates coastal scenery, historical relics, folk customs, and carving art. It has long been known as a “natural film studio” and the “Beidaihe of the South.” Chongwu Ancient City is the only relatively intact stone fortress remaining in China and also a significant historical site in the country’s maritime defense history. It is a “National Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit.”
