The Site of the Southern Outer Clan Administration Office is a cultural heritage site protected at the provincial level in Fujian Province.

The Site of the Southern Outer Clan Administration Office was an official institution managing affairs of the imperial clan residing outside the capital during the Song Dynasty, as well as a residential site for the Southern Song imperial family. It consists of structures such as the Furong Hall, Muzong Courtyard, Chengquan Office, Zixin Studio, Tianbao Pond, and Zhonghou Lane, covering an area of approximately 45,080 square meters. Excavated artifacts including ceramics and pottery architectural components from the Song and Yuan dynasties, along with various household utensils, all serve as evidence that this site was once the location of the Southern Outer Clan Administration Office headquarters and the residence of the imperial clan, as well as the foundation site of the Shuili Temple. Based on archaeological excavations and historical documents, the related pond remains of the Southern Outer Clan Administration Office are inferred to have been roughly rectangular in shape, oriented north-south, and covering an area of about 12,480 square meters. This site holds significant importance for studying the relocation of the Song imperial clan residing outside the capital to Quanzhou during the Southern Song period, their life in Quanzhou, their participation in maritime trade, and their contributions to elevating Quanzhou’s political status, advancing social and economic development, and fostering cultural prosperity.
