Yangmeizhou Bridge

Yangmeizhou Bridge is a National Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit.

Yangmeizhou Bridge is located 1 kilometer northeast of Yangmeizhou in Kengdi Township. It was built in the 26th year of the Republic of China (1937). The bridge underwent three reconstructions in the 56th year of the Qianlong reign (1791), the 21st year of the Daoguang reign (1841), and the 17th year of the Tongzhi reign (1869). The current structure was rebuilt in 1937. It is 42.5 meters long, 4.2 meters wide, and has an arch span of 35.7 meters. Oriented east-west, the bridge features 17 bays and 72 pillars. The central beam contains ink inscriptions documenting donors, craftsmen, and other rich cultural information. On June 2, 2006, it was designated as a National Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit by the State Council.

Kengdi Township: A township under the jurisdiction of Shouning County. Established as Kengdi Commune in 1965 and reorganized as a township in 1984. Located in the northeastern part of the county, it borders Taishun County, Qingyuan County, and Longquan County of Zhejiang Province, historically known as the “Gateway between Fujian and Zhejiang.” Covering an area of 197 square kilometers with a population of 18,000, it administers 16 village committees: Kengdi, Wendingyang, Xiongkeng, Shangdong, Linshan, Diyuan, Xiaodong, Longxi, Diyang, Changling, Siqian, Guiyang, Dalin, Haoxi, Banlingyang, and Lijiayang.
