Introduction: Includes the former site of the Mindong Special Committee in Hanxi, the Red Army slogans at Wayaoping, and the Red Army cave at Wayaoping, among others. After the Long March of the Central Red Army, the Mindong Soviet Area lost contact with the Party Central Committee, and the situation became extremely critical. In May 1935, Ye Fei, a member of the Provisional Special Committee of the Mindong Area of the Communist Party of China, held an emergency meeting in Hanxi to re-establish the Mindong Special Committee of the Communist Party of China. It governed four central county committees including Xiading, as well as 14 county committees, leading the three-year guerrilla struggle in the Mindong region.

In 2009, the former site of the Hanxi Branch of the Mindong Special Committee of the Communist Party of China was designated as part of the seventh batch of Provincial-Level Cultural Relics Protection Units by the People's Government of Fujian Province.
