The former site of the Red Ribbon Society in Shouning is a cultural relic protection unit of Fujian Province.

The former site of the Red Ribbon Society in Shouning is located in Da’an Village, Da’an Township, Shouning County, dating back to 1932.

Description: Originally built in 1917 as the ancestral hall of the Fan family, it consists of an entrance hall, stage, courtyard, side viewing rooms, and the main hall, covering an area of 460 square meters. In 1932, the Shouning Special Branch of the Chinese Communist Party established the mass armed group known as the Red Ribbon Society here. In 1933, tens of thousands of Red Ribbon Society members across the county staged armed uprisings, attacking enemy positions in Nanyang, Kengdi, and other areas, which helped advance the land revolution. The Red Ribbon Society Monument is an affiliated cultural relic.

In 2018, the former site of the Red Ribbon Society in Shouning was announced as part of the ninth batch of provincial-level cultural relic protection units by the People's Government of Fujian Province.

Protected Area: An extension of 20 meters in all directions around the ancestral hall, and 30 meters in all directions around the monument.
