Jade Valley is located in the northern part of Wuyi Mountain Grand Canyon Ecological Park. Here, towering peaks and deep valleys, crisscrossing streams, and dense forests create a mysterious and otherworldly landscape. It features a five-tiered, undulating Mandarin Duck Waterfall cluster; 18 colorful pools shimmering with vibrant hues; and the majestic Great Red Wall Mountain. The Great Red Wall Mountain stands at an elevation of 1,394 meters, stretches for 3 kilometers, and is entirely crimson red with sheer cliffs standing tall—truly a magnificent and spectacular sight. There are also 36 emerald-green pools as deep as jade. These pools come in various shapes: square, round, rectangular, polygonal, and more, and are given melodious names such as Jade Pool, Twin Dragons Pool, Iron Wall Pool, and Fairy Pool.

At the source of the stream lies a river beach stretching over 200 meters. The riverbed is a single large slab of golden stone. When clear water flows over it, the golden bed contrasts beautifully with the swirling white waves, appearing extraordinarily luxurious and striking—so much so that visitors have dubbed it the Gold and Silver Beach. Beyond the Gold and Silver Beach lies the mysterious valley of the primeval forest. With murmuring streams and lush woods, it is an enigmatic place where those who venture in alone often feel a sense of dread. As visitors stroll through, they can enjoy the scenery, watch birds, and immerse themselves in the forest, finding endless rustic charm. The main peak of Jade Valley is called Shengzhi Mountain, the highest peak in the ecological park, standing at 1,630 meters above sea level. With its unique peaks, dense forests, numerous ancient and famous trees, and rare birds and animals, it is the best spot for high-mountain sightseeing.

The Jade Valley scenic area consists of the Mandarin Duck Waterfall area, Warriors' Playground, Crocodile Pool, Monkey Park viewing area, Wuyi Jiuzhai Paradise – Forest Oxygen Bar, Sun Mountain viewing area, and Jade Valley leisure area. The Jade Stream is as green as jade, featuring 36 large and small jade pools, 18 colorful and dazzling pools, and 9 tiers of Pearl Beaches. The stream contains deep, emerald-hued Jade Pools, the magical and rare Mandarin Duck Waterfalls, and vividly lifelike Crocodile Pools. The waters are filled with natural beauty, crystal-clear and temptingly green. It is an excellent destination for eco-tourism activities such as leisure vacations, fitness, oxygen therapy, camping, forest bathing, and sampling fresh local flavors. The Jade Valley scenic area encompasses the main sights of Wuyi Mountain National Forest Park.

The area consists of: Jade Valley Tent Zone, Warriors' Playground – Canyon Outdoor Adventure Training Zone, Real-scene Field Training Zone, Wuyi Jiuzhai Paradise – Forest Oxygen Bar, and Sun Mountain Orienteering Zone.

Jade Valley Tent Zone: Comprises accommodations for 80 people in forest tents, along with a restaurant, forest bar, movie lounge, fitness and entertainment facilities, and a summit experience meeting room. The supporting living service facilities are complete, and the style is simple, unadorned, natural, comfortable, and gives a sense of “clarity of purpose through tranquility and serenity.”

Warriors' Playground Canyon Outdoor Adventure Training Zone: Includes a camping area, bonfire barbecue zone, couples’ leisure area, natural bathing area, and field facility zones. Sun Mountain Orienteering Zone: At an elevation of 1,406 meters, climbing to the summit offers panoramic views of the beautiful landscapes of Wuyi, making it an ideal spot to admire the sea of clouds over Wuyi.
