Little Egret Beach Resort is located in the Little Egret Bay, south of Shacheng Port on the northeastern coast of Fujian. It is a coastal leisure resort area centered around "fishing culture and folk tourism" and "beachside leisure and vacation," and is also one of the four major tourism and leisure bases—"mountain, sea, river, and island"—of the national key scenic spot, Mount Taimu.

Little Egret Beach Resort was invested in and developed by Fuding Little Egret Beach Resort Development Co., Ltd. The bay features a wide, soft-sand beach with gentle slopes and calm waves, making it an excellent beach bathing spot. Lush vegetation and rugged cliffs line both shores. Hiking up to overlook the sea reveals vast misty waters and a dreamlike landscape; gazing at the mountains from the shore showcases spectacular peaks and oddly shaped rocks in stunning scenery; and tasting fresh seafood is a true delight for the palate.
