The Dayuan Revolutionary Sites Cluster is a Fujian Provincial Cultural Relics Protection Unit and a classic red tourism destination.

The Dayuan Revolutionary Sites Cluster is located in Dayuan Village, Xinqiao Township, Taining County, dating back to the years 1931–1934.

Description: It comprises the former site of the Dayuan Township Revolutionary Committee and the Headquarters of the Red 13th Division (Dai Family Official Hall), the former site of the Dayuan Township Peasant Association (Dai Family Ancestral Hall), the former site of the Dayuan Township Guerrilla Detachment Headquarters (Yan Family Ancestral Hall), and the former site of an important Red Army passage (Zhen’an Bridge), covering a total area of 6,000 square meters. Dayuan Village was one of the first townships in Taining County to establish a red political power. In June 1931, the township formed a red regime — the Township Revolutionary Committee along with mass organizations such as the Peasant Association, Trade Union, Communist Youth League, and Guerrilla Detachment, actively carrying out activities such as fighting local tyrants, redistributing land, and raising funds and food for the Red Army. On October 16, 1932, Zhu De, Zhou Enlai, and others led the First Front Army of the Red Army in launching the Jian-Li-Tai Campaign (Jian’ning–Lichuan–Taining), during which the Red 22nd Army passed through Dayuan Village on its way to Taining County. On March 22, 1934, the Battle of Xinqiao, one of the key engagements in the Fifth Encirclement and Suppression Campaign against the Central Soviet Area, officially commenced, with Dayuan Village serving as a frontline position.

In 2018, the Dayuan Revolutionary Sites Cluster was announced by the People's Government of Fujian Province as part of the ninth batch of provincial-level cultural relics protection units.

Protected area: Former site of the Dayuan Township Revolutionary Committee and the Headquarters of the Red 13th Division (Dai Family Official Hall): the surrounding walls extend 5 meters outward in all directions. Former site of an important Red Army passage (Zhen’an Bridge): extends 10 meters outward on both banks of the bridge (including the fengshui forest), and 30 meters upstream and downstream. Former site of the Dayuan Township Guerrilla Detachment Headquarters (Yan Family Ancestral Hall): the surrounding walls extend 10 meters outward in all directions. Former site of the Dayuan Township Peasant Association (Dai Family Ancestral Hall): the surrounding walls extend 10 meters outward in all directions.

Dayuan Village: Overview of Dayuan Village

Dayuan Village is located in the northeastern part of Xinqiao Township, at the border between Fujian and Jiangxi, adjacent to Lichuan County of Jiangxi Province to the north. It lies 8 kilometers from the township government seat, governs 4 natural villages and 6 villager groups, with a total population of 693. The village has 1,090 mu of arable land, 14,215 mu of forestland, and 2,265 mu of ecological public welfare forest. In 2011, the per capita net income of farmers was 7,321 yuan.

Dayuan Village has a long history.
