Following their breakthrough performances in two major events — the National Mountain Outdoor Sports Championship and the Baise International Mountain Outdoor Sports Challenge — the Kolumb (Golonbu) Outdoor Team participated in the 2012 Danxia Taining Mountain Outdoor Sports International Challenge held in Taining, Fujian from May 6 to 8, achieving an overall ranking of sixth and second in China.
After the race, team captain Lu Zhenghu said with regret, “If nothing had gone wrong earlier, we had a good chance of making the top three!” But this once again showed him the allure of outdoor competitions, where you never know what might happen next.
With some regrets, the Kolumb (Golonbu) Outdoor Team left Danxia Taining. Filled with hope and confidence, they set off for their next competition destination — Zoucheng, Shandong. Time after time they start anew, time after time they chase their goals; amid the ups and downs of competition, what remains unchanged is the joy that outdoor sports bring them. In June, let’s meet at the National Mountain Outdoor Sports Challenge in Zoucheng, Shandong, and witness the team’s next step forward.
