The Site of the Former Tai Ning County Committee of the Communist Party of China and the Revolutionary Committee of Tai Ning County is a classic red tourism destination.

The Site of the Former Tai Ning County Committee of the Communist Party of China and the Revolutionary Committee of Tai Ning County is located at the Jesus Church in Da Tian Village, Da Tian Township, Tai Ning County (opposite the township health center).

In February 1933, during the Fourth Counter-Encirclement Campaign of the Central Soviet Area, the main forces of the First Front Red Army, which had been assembled in the Jian-Li-Tai region, were ordered to move westward to launch a strong assault on Nanfeng, leaving only some local armed forces to continue the struggle in Tai Ning. On February 23, the troops of Tian Yufan from the 56th Division of the Nationalist Army made a comeback and reoccupied the county seat. At that time, the only remaining intact red area in Tai Ning was the Da Tian District. The County Committee of the Communist Party of China and the Revolutionary Committee of Tai Ning County retreated to Da Tian to continue the resistance. At the time, the retreating County Committee and Revolutionary Committee had only a small number of government officials and members of the Red Army work group, with very limited weaponry—on average, only one rifle for every three people. During the day, the cadres went to the villages to mobilize the masses, but at night they had to sleep in the mountains, sometimes having to move to several different locations in a single night. The situation was extremely perilous. In order to hold this last red stronghold, the County Committee and the Revolutionary Committee first took measures to significantly strengthen their self-defense capabilities. They established a local Red Guards armed force, built defensive structures, and formed guerrilla squads by drawing elite personnel from the armed forces tasked with protecting the government offices. These guerrilla units actively operated in surrounding areas. Additionally, a guerrilla team was expanded in Xin Qiao to contain and strike at the attacking Nationalist forces. Gradually shifting from a passive to an active stance, the local armed forces in Tai Ning actively waged guerrilla warfare to reclaim the county seat, achieving remarkable results. They successfully fulfilled the tasks of containing the enemy, delaying their advance, and eliminating their effective fighting strength. After the victory in the Fourth Counter-Encirclement Campaign of the Central Soviet Area, the County Committee of the Communist Party of China and the Revolutionary Committee of Tai Ning County also relocated back to the urban area from Da Tian District. On July 9, a celebration assembly attended by over 4,000 people was held at the North Gate drill ground to jubilantly mark the liberation of Tai Ning once again.

The former Site of the Tai Ning County Committee of the Communist Party of China and the Revolutionary Committee of Tai Ning County was originally the Jesus Church in Da Tian Village, Da Tian Township. It was built in 1916. In the late 1970s, due to rural development and renovation needs, the church was demolished and not preserved.
