The Former Site of the CPC Taining County Committee and the Taining County Soviet Government in Dabu is a classic red tourism attraction and a patriotic education base.

The Li Family Residence at the Former Site of the CPC Taining County Committee and the Taining County Soviet Government in Dabu is located in Xiafang Natural Village, Shuangping Village, Dalong Township (formerly Dabu Township), Taining County.

The former site of the CPC Taining County Committee and the Taining County Soviet Government in Dabu was originally the Li Family Residence in Xiafang Natural Village, Shuangping Village. It is a tile-roofed building with a hard mountain-style wooden frame, approximately 12 meters wide and 10 meters deep, featuring a two-courtyard hall structure. The site is currently unoccupied. The former site of the CPC Taining County Committee and the Taining County Soviet Government offices was also housed in a Li Family Residence. This wooden structure is about 15 meters wide and 12 meters deep. At that time, when the staff of the CPC Taining County Committee and the Taining County Soviet Government moved to Shuangping Village, they lived and worked in this house. It is still inhabited by villagers today. In May 2006, the Li Family Residence at the former site of the CPC Taining County Committee and the Taining County Soviet Government offices in Shuangping became an important patriotic education base in Dalong Township.

Shuangping Village is located in the southwestern part of Dalong Township, Taining County, and is a village with a revolutionary heritage. The village covers a total area of 28.6 square kilometers, with forested land spanning 32,300 mu, cultivated land of 2,017 mu, and a population of 256 households totaling 1,164 people, including 45 Party members. The residents are distributed across 11 natural villages, including Julan, Shangxiafang, Dalong, and Kenxi.
