Yangmei Village

Yangmei Village is located in the central-northern part of Xianghu Town, about 3 kilometers directly from Xianghu Market, the town center. Originally, it administered several natural villages including Yangmei (encompassing Shangfushan and Benban), Dianwei (including Qiancuo and Xukeng), Xiakexi, Duikeng, Kuantian, and Banhua, with the village committee based in Yangmei. By January 1990, Kuantian and Banhua were split off to form their own separate village committees. The area currently administered covers approximately 14 square kilometers. It lies along the broad valley terrain on both sides of the upper reaches of the Xinan Stream (also known as the Ganhuai Stream), with residential areas arranged in a slightly pouch-like formation.
