Deep in the mountains of western Fujian lies a place renowned as the hometown of Zhangping Narcissus Tea, celebrated as the "No. 1 Narcissus Tea Village in China."

Beiliao Village is situated in the northwest of Nanyang Township, Zhangping City, Longyan, Fujian Province, 27 kilometers from the city center. It is honored as the "No. 1 Narcissus Tea Village in China," with the Yong-Zhang National Defense Readiness Highway running through the village and bordering the 4A-level Jiupengxi Scenic Area in Zhangping City. It is also a provincial-level revolutionary old base village. The village covers a total land area of 27,000 mu, including 26,000 mu of mountainous land and 425 mu of arable land. Beiliao Village boasts fertile soil and an exceptionally suitable environment for tea cultivation, making it highly ideal for growing narcissus tea. Currently, the village has over 3,600 mu of narcissus tea plantations and has developed the Beiliao Leisure Agriculture and Rural Tourism Area.

Wandering through the tea fields, you’ll be greeted by lush green tea bushes, blue skies, and verdant mountains. The air here is far fresher than in smog-covered cities—come take a deep "forest" breath while you’re here~

Beiliao Village is one of the earliest administrative villages in Zhangping City, the famous "Hometown of Narcissus Tea," to cultivate narcissus tea, earning it the title of the "No. 1 Narcissus Tea Village in China." Within the tea-themed cultural park of Beiliao Village, the tea-making process is vividly displayed, showcasing the intricate steps of narcissus tea production. Surrounded by beautiful mountains and clear waters, visitors can better experience the unique charm of China’s Narcissus Tea Hometown.

Tea Garden Tour: After exploring the tea culture park and immersing yourself in the narcissus tea culture, you can proceed to a real tea garden tour, where you can try tea-picking and enjoy the scenic beauty of the tea fields.

Tea Sage Square: Feeling tired after walking through the tea gardens? Take a rest at the pavilion, feel the refreshing breeze carrying the fragrance of tea, or stroll on the cobblestones of Tea Sage Square to release your stress and rejuvenate your mind and body.

Pitaya Picking: There are also large fields of pitaya here where you can pick your own. You’ll find not only the common white-fleshed pitayas available in markets but also red-fleshed ones—delicious and great for skin health. You can also enjoy the fun of picking them yourself.

Happy Farm: Visit greenhouse vegetable farms, passion fruit plants, and a variety of fresh vegetables and fruits.

Lotus Viewing: In the hot summer, lotus flowers bring a refreshing fragrance, helping you unwind and enjoy the natural serenity and unique beauty of nature.

Farmhouse Cuisine: When visiting any place, local cuisine is a must. Here, you can savor regional specialties such as river fish, red mushroom chicken soup, wild fungus and duck soup, pear mushroom and taro, free-range eggs, dried vegetables, bamboo shoots, and various other distinctive farmhouse dishes.

Beiliao Rafting: Finally, the most exciting activity is rafting. The rafting here is high-mountain spring rafting, with all the water coming from mountain springs. The first phase of the rafting course spans 2.5 kilometers with a drop of 99 meters, offering thrilling excitement. The riverbanks are densely forested, the air is fresh, and it’s a natural forest oxygen bar. During the rafting, you’ll hear "men laughing and women screaming" with excitement.
