Huatang Pavilion

Huatang Pavilion is a cultural heritage site protected at the provincial level in Fujian Province.

Huatang Pavilion is located in Yizhai Village, Xinqiao Town, Zhangping, Longyan City. Also known as Guanyin Pavilion, it was built during the Chenghua era of the Ming Dynasty (1465–1487) and has been renovated in subsequent dynasties. The structure covers an area of 185 square meters. It is a stilt-style building with two levels. The ground floor has 46 vertical wooden pillars, a double-eaved hip-and-gable roof, and a post-and-lintel wooden frame. The interior ceiling features a caisson, wooden carvings of brackets, painted side walls, and a shrine. This stilt-style building has a width of three bays and a depth of four bays, with a post-and-lintel wooden frame and a double-eaved hip-and-gable roof. The ceiling inside has a caisson, and the brackets are carved with figures and floral patterns. The side walls are decorated with exquisite murals depicting figures and landscapes. In 2009, it was designated as a cultural heritage site protected at the provincial level in Fujian Province.

Yizhai Village: Yizhai Village is located in the northern part of Xinqiao Town, Zhangping City, adjacent to Xinnan Town, and is 22 kilometers from the town center. The village covers an area of 2 square kilometers, comprising 7 villager groups, 278 households, and a total population of 1,198. The arable land area is 800 mu, and the forested area spans 15,000 mu, including 700 mu of paddy fields and 650 mu of dry land.
