Zhangzhou Jiulong Park

Zhangzhou Jiulong Park is a national A-level tourist attraction.

Jiulong Park is located at the intersection of Shengli East Road and Yuanguang South Road in downtown Zhangzhou. Covering an area of 9.9 hectares, including a water surface of 4 hectares, it is the largest municipal-level comprehensive leisure park in the city featuring water scenery.

Jiulong Park was historically the East Lake of Zhangzhou. The park was jointly funded by the municipal, district, and town governments with an investment of over 37 million yuan in 1993 and was completed and opened to the public at the end of 1995. Major attractions in the park include: the Nine Dragons Playing with Water Fountain Sculpture, Central Lake Island, Qingyuan Waterside Pavilion, Yingyu Pavilion, Narcissus Pavilion, Zhenbo Pavilion, Yichun Pavilion, Nanshan Qiulan Pavilion, Buran Pavilion, Yu Pavilion, Yunlong Bridge, and Xiqi Bridge.

Jiulong Park is the largest municipal-level comprehensive leisure park in the city. Based on the park’s terrain and current development stage, its internal functional zones have been restructured and planned into six areas: the Comprehensive Leisure Zone, Water Activity Zone, Sparse Woodland & Lawn Zone, Tropical Plants Zone, Service Zone, and Children’s Play Zone.
