Location: Lujiao Village, Tianbao Town, Xiangcheng District, Zhangzhou City

Introduction: Originally built in the sixth year of the Yuan Dynasty's Yanyou era (1319), it was renovated in the fifty-second year of the Qing Dynasty's Qianlong era (1787) under the leadership of Han Xiweng, a member of the Han clan from Lujiao Village who had migrated to Taiwan and served as a Buzhengsi Liwen official in Taiwan, along with fellow clan members in Taiwan. The temple has a width of three bays and consists of three sections from front to back, enshrining deities such as the Sacred King of Zhangzhou, Guanyin Bodhisattva, and ancestors of the Han clan. Major associated relics include a camphorwood-carved seated Guanyin statue from the sixth year of the Yuan Dynasty's Yanyou era (1319) and a stone lotus that emerged from water dating back to the third year of the Yuan Dynasty's Taiding era (1326).

Protective boundary: 20 meters extending outward from all sides of the structure.

In 2009, Weihui Temple by the Roadside was designated as part of the seventh batch of provincial-level cultural heritage sites by the People’s Government of Fujian Province.

Tianbao Town: A town under the jurisdiction of Xiangcheng District, Zhangzhou City. It is a major banana-producing area in the city. Established as Tianbao Township in 1954, upgraded to a commune in 1960, and then to a town in 1984. Located in the western part of the city, it borders the Jiulong River to the south, the Tianbao Mountain to the north, and is 10 kilometers from the city center. Covering an area of 442 square kilometers with a population of 430,000, it is traversed by National Highway 319 and has access to water transport. The town administers 20 village committees including Tianbao, Shanmei, Lujiao, Tawei, Heixi, Tianliao, Houchang, Zhuli, Zhangkeng, Fengyuan, Houtang, Guotang, Dazhai, Yueling, Pangge, Houzhai, Hongkeng, Xiandu, and Puli, as well as the Tianbao Town Residential Committee.
