Aopu Guan Di Temple is a cultural relic protection unit of Fujian Province.

Aopu Guan Di Temple is located in Aopu Village, Punan Town, Xiangcheng District, Zhangzhou City, and dates back to the Qing Dynasty.

Description: The temple faces northeast and consists of a front hall, a courtyard, the main hall, and a water passage corridor, covering a construction area of 204 square meters. A pair of stone lions is placed on the threshold of the central bay of the front hall’s outer eaves, and the door panel features a bas-relief of a qilin. The main hall is three bays wide and three bays deep, with a post-and-lintel beam structure and a flush-gable roof. A stone plaque inscribed with “Lun En” (Imperial Grace) is preserved, bearing the seal “By the Imperial Brush of Emperor Kangxi.”

In 2013, Aopu Guan Di Temple was designated as part of the eighth batch of provincial-level cultural relic protection units by the People’s Government of Fujian Province.

Protected area: An extension of 20 meters in all directions around the temple.

It borders Hua’an and Changtai to the east, Tianbao Forest Farm to the west, Houfang Farm and Shiting Town to the southwest, and Longwen District to the south, covering an area of 64 square kilometers. The town administers 19 administrative villages, one neighborhood committee, and one fruit and forest farm, with a total population of 29,302.
