The fairy plants peach trees and plucks their blooms to trade for wine.” In spring, Houfang Village in Changtai is covered with blooming peach and plum blossoms, creating a stunningly beautiful sight—thus it’s also called Peach Blossom Island.

Moreover, during the plum season from April to May each year, the area’s large, ripe peaches and plums become succulently juicy, with sweet-and-sour flesh hanging heavily on the branches, swaying gently in the breeze—offering every visitor an immersive rural and pastoral experience.
