Bozhou, Anhui Ancient Well Group
Introduction: Anhui Ancient Well Group Co., Ltd. is located in Bozhou City, the hometown of Wei Emperor Cao Cao and the divine physician Hua Tuo. Situated along the Beijing-Kowloon Railway, the group was established in 1992 on the foundation of its core enterprise, the Ancient Well Distillery (now restructured as Anhui Gujing Gongjiu Co., Ltd.). It is classified as a national large-scale first-tier enterprise and a national second-tier enterprise, and is a key backbone enterprise in China’s light industry sector. Currently, it has developed into a comprehensive economic entity with over 20 directly invested or controlled subsidiaries, integrating science, industry, trade, and finance, and spanning multiple industries, regions, levels, and functions. Its main subsidiaries include: Gujing Gongjiu Co., Ltd., Gujing Snow Beer Co., Ltd., Gujing Shuangxi Wine Co., Ltd., Anhui Gujing Hotel Group Co., Ltd., Anhui Gujing Real Estate Group Co., Ltd., Jiufang Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., Gujing Tianshi Printing Company, Shanghai Wild Sun Co., Ltd., Beijing Jinsheng Yigao Technology Co., Ltd., Shanghai Kaisai Biotechnology Co., Ltd., Anhui Laobada Liquor Co., Ltd., Anhui Wild Sun Beverage & Liquor Co., Ltd., Beijing Tiancheng Culture Co., Ltd., and Shandong Penglai Liquor Co., Ltd. In 2002, the group completed an industrial added value of 313 million yuan and achieved sales revenue of 1.104 billion yuan. By the end of December 2002, the group’s total assets had reached 3.657 billion yuan.
