Qiaodong Town in Qiaocheng District has been designated by the National Tourism Administration as one of the first national model sites for eco-agricultural tourism, making it the only township in Bozhou City to receive this honor.

Located in the eastern suburbs of our city, Qiaodong Town is well known for its pollution-free traditional Chinese medicinal herbs and vegetable cultivation, as well as the province-renowned Tongguan Vermicelli. The area has no industrial pollution sources and boasts an excellent environment. The jurisdictional Tongguan Village was named a National Model Village for Ecological Balance by the Ministry of Agriculture over 10 years ago. In recent years, Qiaocheng District has focused on developing the Medicinal Botanical Garden as a key attraction, establishing scenic areas categorized by different types such as woody plants, herbaceous plants, and vines, along with modern tourism service facilities including dining, services, leisure, and entertainment. Additionally, a 10-kilometer high-standard natural scenic tourism belt has been developed along the nearby Wuhe River. International visitors from Japan, the United States, Israel, Canada, South Korea, and people from all walks of life across China have praised the area after visiting, and its development momentum is growing stronger.

Qiaodong Town: A town under the jurisdiction of Bozhou City. In 1958, it belonged to the Shijiu Li Commune; in 1983, it became Xinqi Township under the Shijiu Li District; and in 1996, it was established as Qiaodong Town. It is located 10 kilometers east of the city center, covering an area of 60 square kilometers with a population of 43,000. To the northwest, it borders National Highway 311, and the Bo (Zhou)–Guan (Tang) Road passes through. The town administers 24 villages including Manan, Manbei, Wangtonglou, Cuizhuyuan, Datui, Jiangzhuang, Yuj, Guocao, Shidaying, Liuxie, Tongguan, Xinqi, Xisongdian, Xinzhuang, Bai Zhuang, Yanyao, Jiayao, Luying, Lixiao, Lisuanglou, Liwa, Huangyuan, Sunqiao, Wangzhang, Jiliu, Mayuan, Chebukou, and others.
