Bozhou Museum is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction.

Bozhou Museum is a Han-style castle-like building, reconstructed from the former Three Kingdoms Scenic Palace. It is a comprehensive museum, with its name inscribed in 1963 by Guo Moruo, then President of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. The museum covers a total area of 25,000 square meters, with a building area of 5,200 square meters and an indoor exhibition area of 2,800 square meters. It houses a collection of over 2,687 cultural relics.

The main exhibition on the first floor of Bozhou Museum is themed “Traversing Five Millennia—Exploring the Roots of Bozhou Culture.” Following the timeline of historical development, it showcases the profound cultural charm and diverse array of relics in Bozhou. The exhibition consists of eight sections: the Introductory Hall, the Civilization of the Wu River, Shang Tang’s Capital at Bo, the Sacred Land of Taoism, the Spirit of the Han and Wei Dynasties, Bozhou as the Esteemed City Under Heaven, Bozhou’s Market Life, and Modern and Contemporary Bozhou, displaying 810 sets of cultural relics.

Bozhou Museum is the city’s calling card, the core of its culture, and the negative of its history.
