Tianmu Village Northern Mosque

According to the Second National Cultural Relics Survey: Originally built in the second year of the Yongle era of the Ming Dynasty (1404). The main prayer hall was renovated in 1928. In 1948, it was burned down by the Nationalist troops stationed there after the underground Communist organization used it as an activity site, but was later rebuilt. It covers an area of 4,666 square meters, with a construction area of 2,734 square meters, and includes a main prayer hall, lecture rooms, ablution rooms, etc. The structure is made of brick and wood. The main prayer hall has five bays in width and three in depth, with a connected roof design. At the center is a square [structure], topped with a 25-meter-high moon-viewing tower.

In early 1992, after two years of reconstruction, the area covered was 8,300 square meters, with a construction area of 2,600 square meters. In 2004, a new women’s prayer hall was built, covering an area of 572 square meters.
