Located on the edge of the Asian Games Village, Beijing Beichen Golf Club opened on June 25, 2009. It is the first urban golf club in Beijing, featuring an 18-hole international-standard golf course, a 7,000-square-meter top-tier luxury clubhouse, a large indoor tennis and leisure center, as well as a two-story, 60-bay driving range. The 18-hole international-standard course was designed by five-time British Open Champion Peter Thomson, with a par of 72 and a total length of 7,040 yards. Nine of the holes are floodlit.
