The Chengjing Site is a protected cultural heritage site of Anhui Province.

Covering a total area of approximately 200,000 square meters, the site is entirely overlain by a 1.5-meter-thick Yellow River silt deposit. It was the subject of a rescue excavation carried out by Anhui Province to accommodate the construction of the Dongying–Hong Kong (Bozhou–Fuyang) section of the expressway. Lasting one year, the excavation unearthed more than 1,500 cultural relics. It has been hailed by archaeological experts as "a living textbook of Anhui’s history" and holds significant importance in the cultural and archaeological history of Anhui. The site was shortlisted among China’s Top Ten Archaeological Discoveries of 2005.

Protected Area: A zone extending 500 meters east and west, and 150 meters north and south from the central point of the site.

Construction Control Zone: A buffer zone extending 100 meters beyond the protected area on all sides.

Qiaodong Town: A town under the jurisdiction of Bozhou City. In 1958, it belonged to the Shijiu Li Commune; in 1983, it became Xiji Township under the Shijiu Li District; and in 1996, it was established as Qiaodong Town. Located 10 kilometers east of downtown Bozhou, it covers an area of 60 square kilometers with a population of 43,000. To the northwest lies National Highway 311, and the Bo (zhou)–Guan (tang) Road passes through the town.
