San'gang Village is located southwest of Chengguan Town in Feixi County. It was formed on April 10, 2004, through the merger of the former Songgang, Konggang, and Ruangang villages—hence the name "San'gang." Over 1,200 households in the village are engaged in planting and trading seedlings, forming a vast 10,000-mu seedling base, earning it the reputation as the "Hometown of Seedlings and Flowers in China."

Pear Garden Spring is situated in San'gang Village, Shangpai Town, Feixi County, at the southeastern corner of Xuanwan Reservoir. Covering an area of 10 mu with a built-up area of 2,000 square meters, it features unified Huizhou-style architecture. The site can accommodate 360 diners at once, offers 25 standard guest rooms, 5 chess and card rooms, a large conference hall that can host 200 people simultaneously, and a dedicated theatrical performance stage called Yanglu Arena.

Sight: Households Growing Trees and Flowers

Starting from Hefei, drive along the Hefei-Anqing Highway for half an hour, then turn onto a cement road under the San'gang directional sign.

This road is also part of the "village-to-village connectivity" project and is currently being widened to meet tourism demands.

Ten minutes later, passing through lush green woods, the scenery suddenly opens up to reveal a Huizhou-style archway—this is the San'gang Agritainment Tourism Area. Uniform two-story buildings, clean and spacious roads, and tall solar-powered street lamps... Wang Jie from the Feixi County Tourism Bureau, who accompanied the visit, said that nowadays in San'gang Village, every household plants trees and flowers. The per capita annual income of farmers exceeds 5,000 yuan, with one-third of households earning over 100,000 yuan annually.

It is reported that all 1,210 households in the village purchase their grain just like urban residents, as all farmland has been planted with various seedlings and flowers such as camphor, osmanthus, and persimmon trees. San'gang Village has not only been listed as the only national new rural construction demonstration village in the province but is also an agritainment demonstration base approved by the provincial tourism bureau. Due to its outstanding seedling and flower cultivation, San'gang Village has now become one of China’s three major flower and tree bases, alongside Xiaoshan in Zhejiang and Wenjiang in Sichuan.

During the visit, reporters noticed that each reception point has a large vegetable plot growing various greens. There are also plenty of preserved meats like chicken, duck, and fish. Some households even fish in the lakes. Liu, the manager of the Rural Courtyard reception point, said that to ensure visitors eat with peace of mind and get proper nutrition, every household has its own vegetable garden. The fish in the ponds are mainly supplied to the agritainment spots. Nowadays, with the growth of agritainment, local specialties like free-range eggs, chickens, and ducks in San'gang have become significantly more expensive than before.

Hefei is located between the Yangtze and Huai rivers, in the mid-latitude zone, featuring a subtropical humid monsoon climate. The annual average temperature ranges between 15°C and 16°C. The year-round climate is characterized by distinct monsoon influences, four clear seasons, mild temperatures, moderate rainfall, changeable spring warmth, crisp autumn air, significant plum rain season, and concentrated summer rainfall.
