Located in the southeastern part of Hefei, Anhui, about 2.5 kilometers south of Feidong County, it was once the site of the People's Government of Hubin Township. The residents of Liujiafan are predominantly surnamed Wu. The village has produced many notable figures, such as generals of the Huai Army, the Vice Minister and Acting Minister of the Navy during the Beiyang warlord era—Major General, among others. Most of them held high-ranking positions and built grand houses and estates in their hometown, leading to unprecedented prosperity in Liujiafan. The ancient residences and mansions of Liujiafan consist of six major complexes. There are 13 main buildings, 33 sections, totaling 205 main rooms, 111 wing rooms, and 5 lanes; two gardens; one public and one private ancestral hall; and one Lake-Viewing Tower. These buildings all belong to the Hui-style architecture, featuring brick-and-wood structures with exquisite brick and wood carvings, grey bricks and tiles, aligned mountain ridges, and soaring upturned eaves. Each house is flanked by firewalls, demonstrating meticulous craftsmanship. However, due to the occupation by a rehabilitation hospital in the early 1950s, subsequent military use, and demolitions or alterations during the Cultural Revolution’s campaign to eliminate the "Four Olds", the ancient residences have been drastically altered and bear little resemblance to their original state. Some now only retain outlines of the buildings, some are empty courtyards with only two rare trees remaining, and others have collapsed from neglect. To date, three complexes with remnants of the original ancient architecture can still be restored to their former glory through renovation. These include 8 buildings, 21 sections, 95 main rooms, and 55 wing rooms.

Changlinhe Town: Originating from the Chiwu era of the Three Kingdoms period, Changlinhe is a town with a long history. According to research, water from the northern foothills of Qingyang Mountain continuously flowed into Chaohu Lake via Changning Temple, eventually forming the Changning River. The area was named after the river and later renamed Changlinhe due to its proximity to Chaohu Lake.

Changlinhe Town is located at the southernmost tip of Feidong County, bordering Chaohu Lake and adjacent to Binhu. It covers a total area of 100 square kilometers, governs 18 villages and 2 communities, and has a population of 52,000.
