Currently, there are five agritainment operators in Zhaoguang Leisure Resort. Among them, Caozhuangzi Leisure Farm and Ruijing Leisure Farm are both two-star agritainment establishments, capable of hosting up to 200 visitors simultaneously. The resort has preliminarily developed an eco-tourism economic industry integrating specialty agriculture, fishing, leisure, and sightseeing.

Caozhuangzi Leisure Farm was first established in early 2004, covering an area of over 80 acres. It now includes more than 800 square meters of leisure and entertainment facilities such as pastoral villas, a restaurant, and a chess and card room. All structures in the farm are made of wood and bamboo, with walls adorned with primitive farming tools such as plows and waterwheels. The restaurant can accommodate over 100 diners at once. Its signature dish, the hanging pot meal, truly reflects the authentic rural lifestyle. The farm also features 15 acres of fish ponds where visitors can fish for species such as Wuchang bream, black carp, crucian carp, and mandarin fish. The entire venue exudes a strong rustic charm, making it an ideal spot for urban dwellers seeking a short countryside retreat and an authentic natural experience.

Ruijing Leisure Farm

Ruijing Leisure Farm was first built in late 2005, covering an area of approximately 200 acres. It has built over 1,200 square meters of courtyard-style business premises resembling traditional rural homes, along with a parking lot spanning nearly 1,000 square meters. The farm includes over 100 acres of fish ponds stocked with species such as mandarin fish, grass carp, common carp, crucian carp, and freshwater silver pomfret, available for visitors to fish. Currently, the farm offers a range of services including leisure, fishing, dining, entertainment, and accommodation, providing guests with opportunities to connect with nature and enjoy the authentic rural lifestyle.

Cuozhen Town: Located 8 km east of Hefei City and 6 km north of Dianbu Town (the county seat), Cuozhen Town faces Nanjing to the east and borders Chaohu Lake — one of China’s five largest freshwater lakes — to the south.
