However, prior to March this year, A'ng Ji Village was known as a “problem village” in the county due to its remote location, underdeveloped infrastructure such as roads, and a weak village-level leadership team. How to uncover its own strengths and distinctive features, and transform its abundant natural, cultural, and social resources into economic ones had been the heartfelt wish and aspiration of the villagers for years. In March this year, under the leadership of Wang Jiajun, a cadre dispatched by the Publicity Department of the Hefei Municipal Committee and the village Party committee, the village Party general branch took the “Strive to be Pioneers and Excel in Performance” campaign as a vehicle, focused on key links and central tasks, conducted serious research and investigation, clarified development ideas, and built a beautiful countryside. With the support of the Dianbu Town Party Committee, government, and higher-level relevant departments, various tasks have continuously achieved breakthroughs, realizing a transformation from “nothing to something”. The villagers joyfully said, “The development of A'ng Ji has been advanced by at least ten years.”
