Anhui Jianhua Longqi Wetland Ecotourism Park is situated in Jianhua Community, Cuozhen Town, on the eastern outskirts of Hefei — a national key town, one of China’s first pilot towns for economic development reform, as well as a provincial-level outstanding tourism town and an environmentally beautiful town. It is an important part of the Jianhua Longqi Ecotourism Park. The site is bordered by He Ma Road to the north and traversed by the Hening Expressway to the south, with the golden waterway of the Nanfei River running through it. Boasting a prime location, it has historically been known as the “Strategic Pass between Wu and Chu, and the Hometown of Lord Bao.” The area has a long history and is blessed with remarkable people and spiritual energy. It is famed for the “Three Public Tombs Within a Li” (referring to the tombs of Cai Wenyi from the Song Dynasty, Lord Bao, and Li Hongzhang from the Qing Dynasty), as well as the “Eternal Dragon Habitat” (legend has it that this land was once the dwelling place of a celestial dragon, with its terrain resembling the shape of a dragon — its head, eyes, whiskers, and body all clearly discernible).
