The Sanling Ancient Trail

The Sanling Ancient Trail is a cultural heritage protection unit of Chizhou City.

The Sanling Ancient Trail is located in Shanghe Village and Gaoling Village, Yaodu Town, Dongzhi County. Dating back to the Qing Dynasty, it is classified as an ancient heritage site.

On March 4, 2020, the Chizhou Municipal People's Government designated it as part of the fifth batch of municipal-level cultural heritage protection units in Chizhou.

Protected area: extending 2 meters outward from both sides of the trail.

Construction control zone: extends 1 meter outward from the boundary of the protected area.

Shanghe Village: Overview of Shanghe Village

Shanghe Village is located five kilometers northeast of the county seat, comprising 14 villager groups, 38 households, and a population of 1,278, with a total land area of 2,054.9 hectares. Of this, the paddy field area covers 991 mu.

The village’s main industries are rice and cotton cultivation, with villagers taking up supplementary work in the county town during agricultural off-seasons.

All villager groups in the village have access to roads, and the main village road is a 4-meter-wide cement road.
