Introduction: Dongliu Old Street is a provincial-level cultural heritage site, featuring over 300 Ming and Qing dynasty Huizhou-style buildings. Although weathered by time, some parts remain relatively well-preserved. Priority can be given to renovating and developing clusters of well-preserved residential buildings with certain cultural significance, transforming them into antique-style restaurants, embroidery towers, and teahouses, while also linking them to chrysanthemum culture. The government can provide certain subsidies to facilitate this, thereby using key spots to drive the overall development of the old street. The goal is to build China’s Chrysanthemum City, with the top priority being the development of “Five Gardens” centered around Tao Gong Temple — namely, “Tao Park,” “Wuliu Garden,” “Chrysanthemum Garden,” “Peach Blossom Garden,” and “Garden Farm.” These gardens interconnect and complement each other, creating a delightful and memorable experience.
