The Yang Yegong Memorial Hall is a patriotic education base.

The Yang Yegong Memorial Hall was officially opened to the public on August 12, 2012. It is located in the southwest corner of Jiling Mountain Park in Tunxi District, Huangshan City. The site consists of three parts: the main building, the memorial square, and auxiliary rooms. It covers an area of 11,500 square meters, with a construction area of 6,718 square meters, and the main exhibition hall spans 3,906 square meters. The interior includes a lobby, exhibition halls, and an exit hall. The exhibition content centers around the four core spirits of Yang Yegong — dedication, innovation, pragmatism, and self-discipline — and is divided into eight sections: Introduction, “Loyal to the Mission, Determined to Win,” “Diligent in Learning, Pragmatic in Thinking,” “Upright and Clean, Selflessly Dedicated,” “Hardworking and Enterprising, Loyal to the Nation,” “Never Cease in Life, Never Stop in Battle,” “Touched China, Immortalized in History,” and Conclusion. These sections comprehensively showcase Comrade Yang Yegong’s glorious and heroic life as well as his noble spirit. The museum houses over 500 manuscripts and books by Comrade Yang Yegong, more than 4,000 precious photographs, and over 600 physical artifacts. Facilities within the museum include a resource room, thematic exhibition halls, academic exchange rooms, multimedia screening rooms, a youth activity center, and a digital studio.

Comrade Yang Yegong is a shining example of a Communist Party member in the new era, an outstanding representative of the new type of military commander in our army, and a significant role model emerging from the Second Artillery Force. During his 41-year military career, he remained loyal to his mission, worked selflessly, exercised strict self-discipline, and bravely pioneered new paths. He fulfilled his solemn pledge to the Party and the military with his life, composing a magnificent anthem of contemporary soldiers dedicating themselves to the nation.
